I certainly sympathize with those who say they want a trial version first. That said, I went ahead and bought it a couple months ago. Have been very happy so far. I use Osfoora on Mac, and Tweetbot on my iOS devices. It seems stable and easy to use. Convenient to navigate using arrow keys. The latest version adds streaming which means new tweets appear almost immediately.
